We built The Healers out of pure admiration for nurses and the absolute magic you pull off every single day—both the stuff everyone sees and the quiet, monumental moments that go unnoticed.

Growing up with a chronic illness, I spent a lot of time around healthcare. Combine that with two sisters who became nurses, and I’ve had a front-row seat to the reality of the profession. It’s a side of nursing most people aren’t lucky enough to see, and it’s impossible not to appreciate.

Keeping it Together in the Chaos

Let’s be honest: the daily workload alone is enough to make anyone want to hide in a supply closet. But what really blows us away is the sheer amount of emotional heavy lifting you do. The compassion, the calm presence when everything around you is pure chaos, and the relentless drive to keep showing up.

Look, no disrespect to the doctors out there—diagnoses are great—but nurses are the ones who actually keep the wheels turning. Even when you're overworked, running on pure caffeine, and wildly under-appreciated, you persevere. You’re the backbone of healthcare, and you truly are the healers.
